Read error when importing and converting with custom convert script

### Problem

For a bit of context, I have speakers in my house that can't play audio files encoded at over 48khz, so would like to sample down any items I add to my library that are over this threshold, I figured the simplest way to do this would be with the convert plugin and a simple bash script to filter out albums during a bulk import that aren't over 48khz (as I don't want to modify tracks that aren't over 48khz).
I would like to note that this approach does occasionally work flawlessly, it seems to be certain albums or files that cause issues, and i'm yet to find the common factor among all of them

Note: I tried the 'no_convert:' config option for the convert plugin with the query 'samplerate:..48000' but I believe this is only for items already added to the beets database, and it didn't work.

If anyone can think of a better way to achieve this goal please do let me know!
