Event Purpose
The main objective of the hackathon is to approach Zero Hydra Failures for the upcoming NixOS release 26.05 by fixing bugs and build errors in Nixpkgs and NixOS.
Unfortunately, I forgot to request this budget before the event. I apologise and understand if a retroactive approval is not possible. For what it's worth, we've been running these same ZHF events for years and the Discourse event report is available here.

As this is a two-day event that attracts attendees from all over the world, we provide food and beverages free of charge. We also give out beautifully crafted Nix-themed swag if we can fit it into the budget.
